Another Update... Haha...
Went 3 times to bugis during the 3 weeks break...
First time was supposed to be going to TOP 1 to sing with Alvin, Marlene, Shu Xian, Xin Hui, Fifi and Ben, but it turns out that only Alvin, Xin Hui, Fifi and Ben went... All came late... Lol... I reached at 10.15am, 15 minutes before the meeting time, first time early since a long time ago, but I think I waited for 45 minutes for the first to arrived... Lol... Anyway, we didn't go to TOP 1 after all... Too little people and stuff... Haha... But we DID manage to play Jubeat! HAHA! I bought the E-amusement pass like weeks ago at dhoby gaut but couldn't use it cuz there were too many people at the machine... So, I got to use it at Bugis! WAHAHAHA! And Jubeat was uber fun! Anyway, we ended playing at the arcade and watching Bedtime Stories that day...
The second time, I went with Meryl and Shou! We also planned on going to TOP1, but disaster struck... Turns out that because of its' relative cheapness, it was full... And people actually BOOKED AHEAD! Shit! I called the night before this outing to check the pricing, but they conveniently forgot to mention that I have to book... Haiz... We signed up for the waiting list, but too bad, all those who booked turned up... We were itching to sing though, and we wandered to Marina Square's K box... We were thinking of the Student snack 2 to 7pm package, but it turns out that that particular branch does not have it... Neither does the branch at Suntec, because it's the Peak period... (It was 30th Dec...) In the end, we spent the day lounging around Mac and then in the Esplanade library... A lot of things happened, like me and Shou sharing a small stool and then getting bumped off the stool and crashed loudly onto the floor due to the plastic bag(containing my new shoes!)... Lol... Super embarrassed... Among all these, I forgot what brought about the topic of PSP, I asked if Shou's sister wanted to sell their PSP since they don't use it... And things went on till it turns out that Shou would be lending me their PSP... HAHA!! WHOOHOO!!! SHOU'S THE BEST!!! We went to the Marina Bay there, and was sitting there chatting till it's time to go... Oh, and we made booked a slot for TOP1 on 2 Jan... Lol...
2 Jan, the third time I went bugis... We went and finally got to sing at TOP 1... Turns out that their repertoire of English songs weren't as much as the rumours made it out to have... And the decor... Er... I have no idea what the theme was... It's like minimal decor.. And the disco light were worse than what my house used to have... The flickering(?) white light was dismal... My house's version of that light machine can make movements seem like slow motion because of the rate the eyes see things, but TOP1's version was like light bulb spoiling... On, off, on, off, on, off and then not on liao... Cuz there's a timed thingy... U wold have to press it again if you want it... And the other disco light, the one that shows colors of patterns? Well, being only 3 people, we got the small room, and there wasn't a stage, so it was shone onto the wall behind the TV, like it's affecting anything there because the TV's brightness out shine the light... LOL... However, the TV was nice... It is larger than those at Party World's and K box's small rooms... And the free flow of drinks? Well, it is free flow, but of concentrates that are sometimes too diluted... Like the Lychee one, it's too diluted...
Anyway, we had fun, and that's what that counts... Haha... And it's been a week since I had Shou's PSP and I'm enjoying it, playing DJMAX Black Square! HAHA!!!
