Bdae
Hehe... Today, we (that is, shoufang and I) gave Meryl a surprise bdae celebration!!! Even tho it's only the 3 of us, it was quite fun... Haha... We actually tried to tone down her expectation of a celebration by faking a 'surprise' by buying her a slice of cake in school on thursday, and explaining to her how we are broke and can't celebrate it for her... Lol... And she accepted that hook,line and sinker... Haha... And on that thursday evening, we played her a part of "Lu Xiao Yu" on the sch piano for her through the phone... Haha... Shou and I practiced for about a day only... Haha... And for me, a total piano newbie, I thot I did quite well already... Haha...
As for today, Shou and I decided to split everything we bought for the celebration 50:50... Haha... She prepared the present -- A hoodie cuz she's been saying she wants to buy one since last sem-- And I bought the cake, after I chionged down to bugis from Hougang Green after my haircut in a cab... Sobs... Spent a lot today... I realised that I've been cabbing a lot these days... Must save money... Anyway, back to topic, we then went to the National Lib there to sing the bdae song and eat the cake... Haha... We couldn't finish the cake, and it got crushed/smashed while we were walking around so we threw the rest away... Haiz, wasted... Lol...
After that, we shopped around... Went through the monstrous Bugis Street with the monster crowd... And went to OG... We were lokking around when we saw some shirts that to me, looked Grandma-rish, but shou and meryl were going on about how nice they were... Lol... We each took a piece to try it on... I thot I looked like I'm wearing a pregnant-lady's dress, but they kept insisting that it looks nice... And turns out, neither of them bought theirs, and only I bought it... (-,-''') But my mum's sponsering me $8... Haha!!! Yay!
And after that, we ate Wanton Noodle at the store beside OG... It's quite nice, but not salty enough in my opinion... Lol... Anyway, conclusion, I spent a hell lot today but was happy at the end of the day... Lol!!!
On the way back, I took bus 80, and the bus was packed... haiz... And because of the way ppl queued to go up to the second level of the bus, a group of 3 frens was seperated by me... As in, 2 of them went up, then I went up, then the final guy... And the final guy had no place to sit cuz the last seat was taken by me... I felt so bad la... But it would look ridiculous if I had gave up my seat to the guy la, right? So, I just tried to look and feel inconspicious... Lol... The main word was tried.. Lol... This kind of situation reminded me why I don't like to go anywhere with crowds, like Orchard... Haiz...Anyway, super tired now... Going slp le... Nite nite...
